Salary: Up to 32,000 gross per annum live in

Holiday: 28 day's holiday per annum

Accommodation: 1 bed roomed cottage - allowed partner + pet.
Driving license is essential

 

 

Role:

Head Housekeeper/House manager position, reporting to the Estate Manager/Principals.

 

You would be looking after of one full time, one part-time housekeeper and laundress/housekeeper, a chef and 3 outside groundmen. Creating rotas, household routines, daily work lists and ensuring the house is run to the same high standard as a Yacht. Family dining is casual, but they like their VIP guests and friends to have a high standard of service.

 

This is very much a hands on position, we have a super team here who all get on really well, we are looking for someone to get their head down and work alongside the ladies we have; ensuring that the house is well presented at all times.
 

The house is 15th Century so lots of nooks and crannies. We really want to bring the standard of housekeeping up. Duties involve, general cleaning, hoovering, dusting, tidying.

 

Knowledge of cashmere and couture clothing is also essential, although laundry is done by the laundress, the owner will expect you to have knowledge and suggest improvements for the extremely large wardrobe.

 

The right candidate would be looking for a long term role, not seasonal. The candidate will be an animal lover is also a must. Checkable references are essential.
