- Description
- Our private client is looking for a Housekeeper to work weekends at a lovely home in Highgate, North London.
You will be looking after the Principle, his wife and their dog (a Korean Jindo).
Hours:
- Part time
- You will arrive at the house on Friday evening at 7pm to get a handover from the Weekday Housekeeper. You will not necessarily need to work that evening but will stay overnight at the house. You will then work Saturday and Sunday 7.30am until 7.30pm with breaks. You will leave the house on Monday morning at 8am after handing back over to the weekday housekeeper.
- Some flexibility with hours will be required and on occasion you might be asked to work during the week to cover holidays/sickness/provide extra support.
- Live- in. You will have sole use of a staff bedroom in the house with ensuite bathroom, small fridge and kettle.
Essential requirements:
- Dog lover
- Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills
- Experience working as a Housekeeper or similar in a private household
- Excellent laundry skills
- Cheerful and willing disposition
- Flexible, calm and unflappable
- Reliable, trustworthy and discreet
- Pro-active, organised, practical and mature
- Meticulous eye for detail with high standards of cleaning and cleanliness
- Candidates must have the correct legal documents to work in the UK and must have excellent references
Desirable requirements:
- Basic cooking skills
Salary: £350.00 gross per week
