Our private client is looking for a live-in Housekeeping Couple
The position is for a full time Housekeeping / caretaking couple who will take responsibility for the overall cleanliness, operation and security of the house, as well as supervising visitors,contractors, and any family entertaining.
Property: modern manor house, recently built to exceptionally high specification.
Key Responsibilities - to work together as a team to carry out all those activities normally associated with the description of housekeeping and caretaking including but not exclusively:
Ensure the day to day cleanliness of the house and its content.
Driving (daily evening collections from work at between 7pm and 8pm) and basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning
Provide access and supervision for routine maintenance contractors on site
To take responsibility for security, ensuring that the alarm systems are fully functioning and operated effectively
Laundry duties as required, for bed linen and clothes
Cooking for the family as required
Wardrobe management
Routine and practical handyman repairs and assistance to grounds staff as requiredWorking hours: flexibility will be required but typically Monday to Friday 8am to 2pm and then approx. 6pm to 10pm. Due to security requirements the successful candidate will need to be responsive out of hours and whenever the family are resident.
20 days holiday a year plus bank holidays (or days off in lieu).
Accommodation - self contained one bedroom flat with separate entrance and outside space provided within the main house.
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
