- Our private client is looking for a full time Live-In Housekeeper in West Sussex
The Role:
The housekeeper would be responsible for all cleaning, such as; Laundry/care of clothes, shopping & some cooking/food preparation several times per week.
Including weekends, waiting on at table, occasional driving and ensuring security is maintained at the house. Experience for care of very high-quality clothing, antiques and very high-quality furnishings would be an advantage.
Main base will be the country house in West Sussex, as well as the London residence as required.
Housekeeper would need to travel to London to deal with the smaller property there as required (maybe 2 separate days per month).
Hours & Days of Work:
Full time, 5 days per week, permanent.
Core hours would usually be 8:00AM to 5:00PM with 1 hour of breaks.
Flexibility is very important as we will require the housekeeper to work weekends and take time off during the week, usually Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
The housekeeper will be required to work evenings as required as part of the role and on bank holidays when we are in Sussex. Time off in lieu will be given for bank holidays worked.
Accommodation:
Independent accommodation comprising a studio flat with bathroom & kitchen, overlooking gardens; all utility bills paid except telephone.
Salary & Extras:
Up to £30,000 per annum gross
A Car will be provided with all expenses paid
20 days paid holiday per annum (one 2-week holiday and other shorter holidays, timing by agreement).
A minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
