- Description
- Our private client is looking to recruit a live-out House Manager for a position based in Notting Hill. Salary negotiable depending on experience, working hours to be confirmed.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Management and supervision of other household staff, such as housekeepers, private chefs, nannies and making sure everything is carried out correctly.
• Recruiting, training, and managing the household staff.
• Organise staff rotas.
• General management of day to day private household duties.
• Events/parties/entertainment organisation and general hospitality
• Formal table service and drink service.
• Assisting with opening of properties prior to the principal’s or guests’ arrival and making sure the private residences are kept in pristine conditions.
• Assisting with packing and travel preparations.
• Understands concepts like being anticipatory, friendly yet not familiar, privacy and confidentiality, invisible, yet available.
• Organise butlers’ service.
• Daily stock check for the kitchen, pantries and fridges.
• During down time, detailed cleaning will have to be carried out including services items such as silver, cutlery and tableware.
• Problem solving and “can do attitude”, very much hands-on and ready to pitch in.
• Flexible, organised and flexible, more hours to be expected when the family is in residence.
• Resourceful, quick learner, someone who gets things done.
• General admin of the house (bills/insurances, etc.)
• Ensuring household items are fully stocked as well as maintaining household inventories.
• Scheduling home maintenance and repairs, supervising projects when needed.
• Supervision of contractors, suppliers and services providers.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role for HNWI clients.
