We are looking for Domestic couple for our private client in the Central London
The position is for permanent, full time Housekeeping / caretaking couple who will take responsibility for the overall cleanliness, operation and security of the house, as well as supervising visitors, contractors, and any family entertaining.
The positions will require a proactive approach and a good level of communication skills.
Enthusiasm, versatility, integrity and an excellent proven track record is essential, as is the ability to properly care for an outstanding private residence and its contents.
Property
A seven bedroom townhouse recently refurbished to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
- To work as a team for the following:
- To ensure the day to day cleanliness of the house and contents.
- Providing access and supervision for routine maintenance contractors on site.
- To take responsibility for security and ensure that the alarm systems are fully functioning and
- operated effectively.
- Laundry duties as required, for bed linen and clothes.
- Preparing bedrooms prior to client visits.
- To be proactive at quieter times, well presented and punctual.
- To look after the family whenever in residence.
- To liaise with the managing agents.
- All those activities normally associated with the description of housekeeping and caretaking.
- Driving.
- Organisation of both the main wardrobes.
- General routine handyman repairs.
- Have an understanding of the technical routine aspects of the house to ensure the efficient operating of the house.
Hours of Work
Typically Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, but due to security requirements the successful candidate will need to be responsive out of hours and whenever the family are resident.
Holidays
days holiday a year plus bank holidays (or days off in lieu).
Accommodation will be an en-suite double bedroom with kitchen area on the Lower Ground. Floor of the house. Rent, heating, hot water, council tax and television systems are included free of charge.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience -n the region of £60K
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
