French and English speaking Nanny South Kensington

LOCATION: SOUTH KENSINGTON, LONDON, UK
NUMBER OF CHILDREN: 2, one boy (5 years old), 1 girl (8 years old)

JOB SUMMARY
A lovely French-speaking family based in South Kensington is looking for a bilingual English-French
speaking full time nanny. 


 Monday to Friday plus holidays
sometimes, upon request of the parents. Standard hours of work are 13:00 – 20:00. Duties include pick ups at school, homework, drop off at afternoon activities, play dates and children baths, meals preparation, and tidying up kids bedrooms.

Meals preparation in accordance to parents’ guidelines
Taking care of food shopping for children meals when required

Daily pick up at school
 Organising a variety of creative afternoon activities when children do not attend pre-scheduled
ones, sports or play dates
Helping the children with their daily homework tasks, both in English and French, helping them find
motivation and teach them a learning method
Liaise with other nannies to organize play dates with other children in accordance to the children’s
schedule
Motivate the children with practicing the piano when needed
Bathe and help the children with their daily self-care and personal hygiene following parents’
instructions
Liaise with the family’s personal assistant and other household staff in regards to the family
schedule, pick ups and drop offs, holidays, etc.
Tidying up the children’s bedrooms on a daily basis

• The candidate should be a native French speaker, and fluent in English

HOURS OF WORK
• Monday to Friday, 13:00 – 20:00 (but full time during holidays)
• The candidate will be required to sleep over occasionally, if both parents are away
• The candidate might be asked to travel with the family during holidays and breaks, expenses paid.


Negotiable salary.

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
