Location: Kensington, London W8Private Family with 2 children (8 & 11yrs) plus a small dogHours: 12:00noon to 20:00pm Mon-Fri (by arrangement at other times)Salary: NegotiableDuties: (as below, to include but are not limited to)" Take care of childreno scheduling and coordinating children's activitieso transporting children to afterschool activitieso tidying children's bedrooms and play areas" Check and purchase groceries and household supplies to maintain adequate levels" Maintain record of related expenditure" Plan and cook meals for family" Care for family pet - one small dog" Wash dishes and clean kitchen" Run errands for employer" Answer telephone and take messagesHousekeeping duties would be lighter whilst in the London residence, as there is also full time housekeeper. However, would generally be expected to assist her during busy periods and manage the above in order to execute own duties.When travelling with the family (potentially 8-12 weeks during the summer months) these duties would extend. Working hours may vary but in general would be 8 hours over the course of a day, flexible over the week:" Travel ahead to prepare property for family's arrival" Housekeeping duties as required" Child care duties as required, to include evening/weekend careo undertaking appropriate creative activities with the childreno undertaking appropriate outdoor activities with the childreno tidying children's bedrooms and play areas" Grocery purchase and planning and cooking family meals" Care for family dog (if travelled)" Run errandsKey Competencies:" Competent Cook" Spanish speaking (either first language or competent conversational level)" Flexibility & Adaptability" Ability to multitask" Good judgment skills" Planning and organizing skills" High energy levelUnless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
