Description: Our client is recruiting for a live-out Head Gardener in East Sussex.
The Successful candidate will have experience in dealing/managing large garden areas, landscaping and day to day gardening duties.

Job Requirements include but not limited to:

" Sound horticultural knowledge and experience required
" Flexible approach to duties undertaken
" Ability to lead a team of 6 (+) staff and show initiative
" Effective communication and organisational skills
" Ensure that the whole garden area(s) are checked as the first task of each day
" Enthusiasm and capacity for hard work
" Attention to detail
" Ability to demonstrate Health & safety at work
" Able to keep a record of plants received, plants lost and plants ordered
" Either in person or by delegation ensure that the whole garden is checked as the first task of each day.
" Systematic and cheerful approach with a 'can do' attitude
" Relevant qualifications required
" Honesty and a high level of integrity

Salary: Dependent on experience
Location of work: East Sussex

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
