Live-In Domestic Couple in Suffolk

We are looking for an experienced Domestic Couple for our private client to join their country residence in Suffolk. As the principals are not in full time residence you must be happy to work weekends when they are there taking Tuesday and Wednesday off. Candidates must be experienced working in a fine home and be able to demonstrate skills in all aspects of household maintenance. One of the candidates must possess culinary, gardening and housekeeping skills. The Couple will work together seamlessly and oversee the wellbeing of the property. The ideal candidates are mature, responsible people with a strong work ethic who possess integrity, and caring values. The Family prefers a Couple who are professional, but friendly, non-obtrusive, highly trustworthy. The candidates must practice professional boundaries and have the ability to anticipate the needs of their employer. Professional etiquette and discretion are of high importance. The position is Permanent, Live-in, Full-Time with flexibility, two days off per week

Duties
• Cooking healthy, family style meals as required for the family and guests
• Manage vendors and oversee the daily operation of the home.
• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, stairways
• Vacuum rugs & carpets.
• Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metal, wood work, fine antiques, and vintage furniture
• Washes walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Must maintain the house neat and orderly at all times. Daily responsibilities include: Clean showers, bathrooms, dusting, light maintenance including some handy man duties, and leaf blowing as required.
• Daily laundry, Ironing (including bed sheets) and/or steaming clothing and fine linens and maintaining shoes.
• Garden maintenance
• Grocery shopping
• Manage and schedule all preventive services for the house
• When guests are present in the home, responsibilities will include offering beverages and attentive care for the guests’ needs for the duration of their stay. Bartending may be required at times too.
• Basic automobile Maintenance

Compensation and Benefits
  Accommodations: Live-In – the residence has a 2-bedroom staff flat with separate living area and kitchenette.  

£900 - £1000 week net based on experience (couple)
