Live-out House Manager in Holland Park

Our private client is looking to recruit a deputy/ junior house manager that would directly assist the house manager with the running a residence in Holland Park.

 

The role will require verifiable proficiency in the following areas:

 

o basic culinary skills to prepare the odd breakfast and evening meal when the chef is not at work;

 

o table service skills for serving all family meals, as well as more formal entertainment;

 

o amenability and confidence in dealing with very young children;

 

o administration and management of nutritional supplements;

 

o extensive experience of MS Suite applications (principally Excel, Outlook and Word);

 

o proactive management of household and staff diaries;

 

o honed skills in managing stocks of household provisions, with close monitoring of provision requirements for chef, housekeepers, nannies and dogs;

 

o extensive experience of maintaining and managing household cash, corporate credit card and supplier accounts;

 

o ability to confidently drive automatic top-range vehicles in central London;

 

o considerable sensitivity to all issues of confidentiality and discretion in relation to all individual and family matters;

 

o negotiating skills in dealing with third-party contractors;

 

o team-management and socialising skills in running close-knit team of chef, housekeepers, nannies and drivers;

 

o confidence and approachability in dealing with family's corporate office;

 

o honed skills in managing a high-calibre male wardrobe;

 

o preferably, effective working knowledge of spoken and written Portuguese and Spanish;

 

o amenability and confidence in directly looking after three household dogs.



Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
