- Description
- We are looking for a Live-out Housekeeper for one of our private clients to join a busy dynamic team in Notting Hill.
You will work for a young international family, alongside 3 housekeepers, a Chef and a House Manager.
Duties include but are not limited to
- Top detail and deep cleaning of the home
- Highly organized
- Expertise in the fine laundry (caring for delicate fine clothes, fabrics and linens, including hand washing & ironing)
- Arranging for dry cleaning and itemise, organise & keep track of wardrobe
- Washing and ironing, steaming
- Altering and mending various garments
- Organising wardrobe according to season
- Maintain inventory of wardrobe, linens, beddings and towels
- Dealing with flower arrangement maintaining fine styling of the home "everything in its place".
- Maintaining a constant high standard of closet organisation and keep fully stocked with items such as hangers, drawer organisers, shoe trees, etc.
- Responsible for toiletries including purchasing, maintaining backup inventory as well as always having a travel bag stocked for each member of the family
- Packing and unpacking for all travels
- Takes directions from the House Manager and be a team player with other housekeepers
- Must have significant experience with large fully-staffed homes & homes with babies and young children
The ideal candidate will be someone who is experienced and worked in a similar setting and has an excellent verbal and written English.
Working Days: Flexible – 40 hours per week on rota (2 weekends off/2weekends worked)
Start ASAP
Salary: £35,000.00
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
