Our client is looking for a Butler/Houseman/Driver/Handyman/Caretaker/Assistant
Cook/Housekeeper Assistant couple.
This is a non-smoking, formal Household discretion and confidentiality is paramount.
Must be proficient in the English Language, Computer literate and knowledge of Spanish would be an asset.
This is a permanent, full-time position

Joint Job Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Valet, table service, chauffeur, auto maintenance, shopping, minimal indoor and outdoor gardening, tending to the vegetable garden, minor household repairs, securing outside assistance for other repairs when it is a big task, arranging flowers, tending to orchids cooking, laundry, ironing, vacuuming and general housekeeping, as well as maintaining household supplies, care for silver and antiquities and employers delicate clothing and personal belongings.
• Manage the entire household when employers are not in residence
• Employers entertain both large and small groups – Menu planning, provisions and preparation. When caterers are used to work with them and keep an eye on things.
• Be on call and available at all times when employers are in residence.
• Joint duties and responsibilities should be divided according to expertise, experience and training to avoid duplication of work.
•  Supervise and assist Daily help
• Serve as caretakers and assume responsibility for the property.
• Willing to learn and attend all courses, education and training as provided by employers, jointly and separately.
•   Coordinate with suppliers and set up appointments with numerous maintenance people e.g. plumbers, pool maintenance, electrician etc.
• Take care of pets
• Manager employers’ travel bags, vitamins, toiletries
• Keep budget in place
• Prepare house for different seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter
 
Must know how to plate food and plate for platter service formally:
• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, morning coffee and occasionally afternoon tea -  Afternoon tea – especially when we have guests –staying or visiting
• Good cooking and following new recipes are essential
• Prepare menus & list for grocery shopping 2-3 times a week
 
 
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
