Domestic Couple in Oxfordshire

Professional Couple (cook and housekeeper, no gardening) wanted for our private client in quiet hamlet near Burford.  Previous domestic experience essential.  Cook: very high standard for weekend cooking. Housekeeper:  Great attention to detail. Cleaning. Experience of looking after precious objects, household laundry, serving at table. Full time including weekends.  Two days off mid-week. Charming 3 bedroom cottage.
 
Experienced cook & housekeeper/butler
 
The couple will take on full responsibility for running the house, all cleaning and housekeeping, looking after guests and catering to a very high standard. 
 
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills
- Must be well presented
- Must be extremely well organised as the house requires meticulous attention to detail
 
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
 
Cook
- food shopping
- -preparing weekly food list
- ordering food online (Ocado)
- getting locally sourced items when not available from own organic vegetable garden
- cooking (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- creating menus, co-ordinating wines
 
Housekeeper/butler
- Washing and ironing household laundry (not personal laundry)
- Serving pre-lunch and dinner drinks and at table
- Help in kitchen, table setting, and clearing up when necessary
- -Maintaining appliances to keep them running in perfect condition
- Running errands for the household
 
As this is primarily a weekend home you would be required to work Friday nights, Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays with two consecutive days off during the week.
 The position is live-in, permanent, full-time
Competitive salary. Five day week including week-ends.  Own three bedroom unfurnished cottage.

Minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
