We are looking for a Professional Handyman/Caretaker for our private client in Antibes, France
The position is permanent, full-time, live-out
As the handyman, the employee’s duties shall in particular and principally be –but not limited to- the followings:
-Change lights bulbs and ensure all other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
-Handle rewiring, change fuses, junction boxes etc
-Handle minor plumbing and carpentry
-Clear & clean general areas ( for example: dust bean location, tool storage, garage, cave etc)
-Shift and assemble furniture or equipment
-Look after garden/landscape installation and maintenance, footpaths, gate maintenance
-Handle minor painting
-Clear gutters, clean/change filters on AC systems
-Maintain property exterior at all seasons
-Ensure parking lot and side walk cleanliness
-Ensure swimming pools cleanliness and handle chlorine/ph treatment
-Responsible for opening and closing the pool area/terrace each day while family on site (pillows, towels, candels etc)
-Look after cars cleaning and maintenance
-Repair equipment or appliances
-Inspect all community spaces every day to identify problems with litter, mechanical failure or breakdowns
-Have a clean driving license for eventual driver missions
The employee should work under the authority of the villa manager and/or the president of the company, and will report his direct superior any troubleshooting.
The extent and nature of the employee’s functions may be adapted and/or developed by the company as necessary, taking into account its changing needs.
As such, the employee may be required to undertake additional or other duties entering in the scope of his competence. Any such alteration shall be notified beforehand to the employee and will not be considered as a contract modification.
The employee is required to conduct himself in a courteous and respectful manner toward any person staying, working or passing by the villa, including notably family members, friends, acquaintances, business associates, guests and residents of the villa, the employer and all other company’s employees.
Salary is 2,500 net EURO per month negotiable
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
