British Governess in Moscow

We are looking for a professional English speaking governess for our private client in Moscow, Russia

The position is permanent, full time (rotation), live-in

Governess required for 2 kids – 3,5 year old boy and 1,5 year old girl (shared care approx. 50/50% between 2 kids, can change depending on the day planning). Both have been exposed to British nannies for over a year now.

The boy attends Russian kindergarten so is away from home in the morning, then there is sole charge time of the little girl – day routine, developing activities, feeding, outdoor activities, dressing, potty training, etc. In the afternoon when boy comes back home – more focus on him – studies, developing activities, games, outdoor activities, etc.

The family is searching for a candidate with ahigher education in early childhood studies and development.

Previous experience as a nanny with kids from 2 years old up is compulsory (at least 5 years of work experience with children).

Current Russian visa or experience working in Russian and/or on rotational positions is a plus.

Candidate should be very well mannered, polite, discreet, intelligent, child education and safety, be responsible, punctual, flexible, understanding and caring, treat kids as if they were her own. Be firm but fair, fun but maintaining standards and knowing the limits.

To speed up the search process we would like candidates to provide a short self presenting video of them briefly speaking about their experience and personality – so that family can assess their character and make decision regarding the interview. Video should be short, just 1-2 minutes to assess pronunciation, clarity of speech and verify how the candidate looks like in real life (as sometimes CV photos are far from reality).

Conditions

Rotational position 1 month on, 1 month off work.
All travel to and from work paid by the family (flights, transfers in Russia and UK). Travel expenses for interview will be covered as well.
Work location – Moscow region (40km from Moscow city center) in a private townhouse village, closed secure territory, remote location.
Accommodation – provided separate ensuite bedroom in the main house with the family.
Work schedule – varied during the day but usually 8am till 9pm. Time can change due to family planning and travels, flexibility is expected from the candidate.
There is a housekeeper who does most of the cleaning and partially cooking.
Start date for the position – 1^st May 2018 (date is flexible +/- 2 weeks). Face to face interview in Moscow in March-April is required before candidate can be confirmed.
Long term position, family is looking for a person to work for the next 2-5 years.
Salary 4000 GBP gross per month (paid every month, 12 months per calendar year).

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
